S-Bahnhof Stop Deisenhofen

The community of Oberhaching can be reached by the S-Bahn lines S-3, S-20 and S-27.

The connection to the Deutsche Bahn AG for long-distance train travel is at the Munich stations

Hauptbahnhof (Main Station)

(S-3 and S-27), Ostbahnhof (East Station) (S-3) and Pasing (S-20).

S-Bahn (train) from Munich Airport

Take S-Bahn (train) S-8 in the direction Ostbahnhof. Switch at Ostbahnhof to S-3 (direction Holzkirchen or Deisenhofen). You might have to switch platforms at the Ostbahnhof! Get off at the stop "Deisenhofen".

Coming up the steps at the station in Deisenhofen, turn right, walk along the railroad tracks in the "Gleißentalstr." (approx. 100 m), turn left into "Ganghofer-Str.", turn right into Ludwig-Thoma-Str.", continue around the bend till you come to No. 16 (approx. 6 min. walk).

From Frankfurt/Berlin/Nürnberg

Take Autobahn (highway) A-9 to crossing "München-Nord", then A-99 direction Salzburg to crossing "München-Süd". Turn onto A-99 towards Garmisch till you come to the exit Oberhaching. 1st traffic light to the left, 2nd traffic light to the right, then follow the "Route Description".

From Lindau(A-96), Garmisch(A-95), Stuttgart(A-8)

When you arrive in Munich at the "Mittlerer Ring" take the direction "Autobahn München-Salzburg". Take highway A-995 (starts in Giesing!!) Continue direction Salzburg, take the exit "Oberhaching". 2nd traffic light to the right, then follow the "Route Description".

From Passau(A-94/B-12)

Autobahn to crossing "München-Ost", then direction A-99 towards Salzburg until the crossing "München-Süd", then turn to A-99 towards Garmisch till you come to the exit "Oberhaching". 1st traffic light to the left, 2nd traffic light to the right, then follow the "Route Description".

From Salzburg(A-8), from Innsbruck(A-12)

Take direction München until you come to the crossing "München-Süd". Then take Autobahn A-99 direction München/Garmisch-Partenkirchen till you come to the exit "Oberhaching". 1st traffic light to the left, 2nd traffic light to the right, then follow the "Route Description".

Route Description - Direction to Hotel Abendruhe

Drive straight ahead approx. 1 km on the "Münchner Str." (changes its name to Tölzer Str.). At the traffic light (crossing) turn right into "Lanzenhaarer Str.". Then take 1st left into "Tisin Str." direction "Deisenhofen Zentrum". Approx. after 500m turn right into the "Bahnhof Str.", then turn on the 2nd right into the "Ludwig-Thoma-Str. 16."

From Hotel Abendruhe to Exhibition Halls "Neue Messe München"

by car: Follow directions from our map to the autobahn direction Nürnberg, then watch for the signs "ICM" !

by S-Bahn: S-3 (violet line) direction "Petershausen" (6 stops) to "Giesing", switch trains U-2 (red-brown line) direction "Messestadt"!
